At the age of 5, I knew. Knew that I wanted to be a school teacher. Everything I did was with the goal of teaching in mind. My activities in and out of a school building would point straight to education.
As time would prove, I did become a teacher. During that time, many students would come through my doors with a range of ages and grades from Kindergarten through High School, even beyond to Undergrad Studies. Plus, the experiences I hold dear have been helped by many mentors.

Reading specialties, social skills, minor disabilities, and honing in on the needs of children in many settings have brought such a uniqueness to our family schooling. As I have moved from an institutional classroom to a home classroom, my heart has changed in my philosophy of schooling & the understanding that parents are truly capable of teaching their children. It is more about mentorship and having a support system than anything else. I am excited to bring you on this adventure. My hope is to impart what I have learned along the way and to empower you as a family.
